This competency-based course prepares trainees in the core skills for entry-level positions in the Tourism and Hospitality Sector. The level 2 Baking ((Bakery Chef) programme spans all areas of the hospitality industry, the manufacturing (food processing) industry as well as other areas. 

The Commercial Food Preparation (Commis Chef) Level Two curriculum is a competency-based course designed to provide trainees with the requisite competencies (Knowledge, skills and attitudes) to gain meaningful employment in the Tourism and Hospitality industry.
